Personal Growth Weekly #22
Hey, it’s Michael from michaelrauscher.com,
I hope you’re doing great! Let me add some value to your life this week:
A gentle reminder to stay focused on your goals: In my Medium story The #1 Strategy to Actually Achieve Your Goals I sum up three ways towards more focus, productivity, and to achieve more in less time. I’m sure it will help you on your way to your goals!
Instead of just setting a final goal, create an environment that helps you take dedicated action towards your goal habitually. The more self-respect you earn through your own actions, the less important your initial goals will seem.
If you know the obstacles ahead, you can prepare for them and overcome them with more ease. In her story Breaking Your “Upper Limit”, Brianna Wiest points out 12 ways people hold themselves back from real happiness and why the interim between knowing and doing is where suffering thrives:
“By not acting immediately, we think we’re creating space for the truth to shift, when really, we’re only creating discomfort so that we can sense it more completely (though we’re suffering needlessly in the process.)”
It means there is no magic. The feeling of being uncomfortable just wants to move you into action. As soon as you’ve set up a working process and execute the intended actions, you’ll naturally align your actions with your innermost intentions. Because you’re in movement, you’ll subconsciously align with your true self.
Even if it’s just a tiny task you accomplish, always remember:
You probably know that I’m writing on Medium.com every week. It would mean the world to me if you hit follow to snatch my weekly reads on mindful personal growth and reach out to me through any social media channel or by mail!
PS: I love to read, listen, watch content, and write about personal development and self-improvement daily. But I’m pretty sure your schedule is almost full already. Let me do the weekly personal growth research for you to save your time and add value to your life. I’ll give you only the essentials, promise!
Alright, looking forward to seeing you next week!
Have a great smashing week ahead!
