  1. Life can be overwhelming. It can be frigging hard. My latest blogpost How to Overcome Feeling Down and Powerless All the Time is all about three steps into a life with less worrying and more happiness. Hope you’ll give it a read!

    Remember: Whatever impediments you’re currently fighting with, you must remind yourself of one thing: Nothing is more important than to be able to enjoy where you are, right now, right here. You’re the only one who can allow yourself to return to your most natural self.

  2. Let’s chop it down: Our brains have a built-in defense mechanism: By imagining our worst fears, we think we could prepare for them. By always keeping the thing we fear on our radar and in front of us, we falsely assume that it couldn’t hurt or surprise us suddenly. Worrying is a primal emotion. It pushes us into seeking safety and comfort. Here the opposite of the typical advice counts: Instead of leaving your comfort zone, build a comfort zone to find a way to feel safe again.

  3. Sometimes we’re so busy worrying that we forget to dig for the root cause and address the actual things that trouble us and make us vulnerable. What helps is understanding and action. What you need is to state precisely what is wrong with your life (understanding) so you can work to make it right (action).

    Be brutally honest with yourself. If not now, when?

  4. It is your birthright to feel whole, stable, healthy, vital, and at peace. Guide yourself to find peace and comfort and create a safe haven.
