Personal Growth Weekly #18
Hey, it’s Michael from michaelrauscher.com,
I hope you’re doing great! Let me add some value to your life this week:
The modern world provides us with uncountable ways of what we could do, where we could go, how we could live. The past wasn’t always this way. But these circumstances result in entirely different challenges now.
We have so many paths we can take in each moment, but we barely learned to pursue one at a time. Instead, we walk in circles and wonder why it seems we barely move forward.
In my story How to Be Distraction-Free and Get Stuff Done, I describe four easy-to-implement but uncommon ways to immediately increase productivity. I hope they can help you to let your progress sky-rocket!
On your way to your goal, you’ll realize one thing:
The more self-respect you earn through your own actions, the less important your initial goals will seem.
The essence is simple: The more we strive to create a purposeful life daily, the less useful we’ll find the final goals we had set in the first place.
My favorite quote of this week is taken from the book Meditations of the stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius:
“Our actions may be impeded… but there can be no impeding our intentions or dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.”
You probably know that I’m writing on Medium.com every week. It would mean the world to me if you hit follow to snatch my weekly reads on mindful personal growth and reach out to me through any social media channel or by mail! I’m here 😊
PS: I love to read, listen, watch content, and write about personal development and self-improvement daily. But I’m pretty sure your schedule is almost full already. Let me do the weekly personal growth research for you to save your time and add value to your life. I’ll give you only the essentials, promise!
Thank you for reading. Looking forward to seeing you next week!
Have a great smashing week ahead!
